We also offer blem bats - not always available. These are nice bats,
just not premium bats, with small defects or twisted grain. I'm very picky about the wood I
send out the door as premium, so some really nice wood makes it into this
category. Typical defects are color streaks, small knots (never in the
thin part of the handle), pinholes, twisted grain, etc (please see additional photos
below). Why risk breaking your expensive wood in the batting cage or during cold
spring practices when you have a cheaper alternative. The photo below shows some finished Bar Hag Bats so you can see what is typical. It is very important to me that you get what you expect.
